There are many ways to react to pain.
Some do it with anger, some by withdrawing into silence, others decide that the most constructive way is the creative one.

Marcin Kaminski's project is a perfect example of this last approach. His mother's illness led him to feel nothing, living in a sort of limbo, immersed in emptiness. It was through the creative process that a crack formed in this solid armor.

The pursuit of bodily perfection in this photographic series merges with an aesthetic quest, traveling through overexposed flashes in the night, epidermal closeness to the subjects and a visceral and powerful connection with nature.

There is light even in the night.
An artificial, blinding spot that illuminates and confuses.
There is no need to wait for the day, sometimes a safe path to follow is found even in the darkness.
