ILARIA MANINI - SOUND STUDY
The project is the study of sound through a different sensory field.
The four identified sounds were visually captured to evoke their ‘hearing’
memory as much as possible.
They, in turn, were captured during a video and audio recording and their waves were analyzed using an audio software and transformed back into images with an editing software.
What you get is a visual description and observation that starts with the representation of reality and then goes through different stages: photography, visual manipulation and audio manipulation. The process is invertible and repeatable infinite times, the project can therefore be continued with never ending results.
